Just some quick notes and thoughts about this mockup...
The two stock photos (the happy child and the panorama background) are
from
istockphoto.com. I haven't purchased
them yet (they are a dollar each for non-exclusive use), so you can still see
the istockphoto watermark on each of them. Obviously if choose to go with this
design, they'll be higher quality (the background image at least), and without
a watermark. I know the B&G Club is also a organization for teens, so maybe
the little kid isn't a great idea? It would be a good question for the client,
but it could always be replaced with something less smarmy, more sporty.
This is just the homepage. I think the other pages would be a bit simpler,
without the floating box and huge header image.
I like the simple navigation links in the header, but it would be possible
to make them a bit more "flashy", like they are buttons if it's so desired.
